Let’s discuss the Karnataka CET (KCET) 2017 real seat allotment process and result. Candidates who have qualified for the KCET 2017 entrance exam will be allotted seats basis their merit. The KCET real seat allotment is done only online. Candidates will be allotted seat in colleges based on their ranking and availability of seats as per the seat matrix issued by the government.
KCET 2017 Real Seat Allotment
There are certain criteria for real seat allotment. The physically disabled, NCC and sports category are given preference in the order mentioned. Once these three categories have been allotted, then general category will be allotted seats basis merit.
After the 1st phase of allotment is completed, the 2nd phase of real seat allotment will commence. The KCET 2017 real seat allotment will be provided only for reserved category candidates and general category candidates will not be considered. The criteria for Karnataka CET real seat allotment in phase two will remain the same as phase 1.

All three phases together are known as the iteration.
