KCET 2018 for Non-Karnataka Students information
The KCET 2018 is an entrance test for undergraduate and post graduate studies, in colleges within the state of Karnataka and generally, only students who fulfill the domicile eligibility can apply for this test. Other than immigrants from Jammu & Kashmir external students are not permitted to apply for KCET 2018.

Candidates eligible to apply for KCET 2018 non-Karnataka under the Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses need to prove their proficiency in the Kannada Language and will have to take the language test and score at least 12 out the total 50 marks. The difficulty level of the Kannada language paper will be that of 4th standard in Kannada medium school.
Exceptions will be in the case of students who have studied from 1st to 10th standard in Kannada medium outside Karnataka will be exempted from the Kannada Language test.
