The students who wish to sit in the KCET 2017 Marks distribution , would have to pass a certain eligibility criteria, this criteria includes the age, subjects the candidate might have studied, marks distribution and marks weightage.
KCET 2017 marks distribution
If the candidates wish to join the engineering stream, they need to have cleared their 10+2 from a recognized institute, and should have opted for mathematics, Physics and should have studied at least one of these subjects: Chemistry, Biology or biotechnology. The candidates should have at least the basic english knowledge. The aggregate score of the 10+2 should be at least 50% if the candidate is in general stream and 45% if they are from SC/ST
For every other course the minimum education requirement and the marks remain the same. The subject choice of the candidate would decide where he/she can take admission.

If the candidates wish to take admission in medical or dental field, they must have studied Biology, Chemistry and Physics. These same subject requirements are for homeopathy, Unani, Ayurveda, Naturopathy and Yoga fields of study. As for students aspiring to take up architecture, they should have mathematics as their main subject. And for students for the field of agriculture, the students should have studied all three branches of science:Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
